At Primeros Pasos, we nurture your child's curiosity in a safe and loving setting, encouraging exploration and discovery at every turn. Our play-based approach, inspired by theorists like Piaget, Vygotsky and the Stanford Bing Nursery School, recognizes that children learn best by doing, not by being told what to do. Through hands-on activities, art, music, and outdoor exploration, we empower children to think creatively, solve problems, and express themselves freely. We believe these skills are essential for fostering curious, confident learners prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world.

What this means
Play-based means children learn through free and guided play — social skills, problem-solving, and early academics emerge through play rather than direct teaching.
Full immersion means most of the day is conducted in Spanish Immersion, so children absorb the language naturally. It's normal for kids to understand little at first — they pick it up quickly.
